With the abstracts I use a mixture of mediums for creating textures and use both brush and palette knife. Many are influenced by current trends especially the use of metal foils. However, the paintings depicting human emotions are true originals in that there were no outside influences used in their creation. They came straight from my heart and mind - unadulterated - and I had hoped to continue painting in this style. I showed them to a number of publishers and agents but the felt they didn't fit into their niches, so I gave up and fell back to following the current trends.
As a guide, for a commission, an 8 in x 20 in/20 cm x 50 cm abstract would cost £50, a 20 in x 20 in/50 cm x 50 cm £125 and a 24 in x 24 in/60 cm x 60 cm £175.
