I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hazel and Doreen, Tom's sisters, who were there for me the moment Tom died and who supported me through his funeral and the months after.
Also my friends Sue Saunders and Douglas Saville, who apart from supporting me with the production of this book for Tom, opened their house to me as a bolt hole when I was in need of company.
My two long-suffering friends, my mother and Jeane Neale, who put up with my moodiness ad infinitum.
My Doctor, Conrad Latto, who thinks I'm borderline but is keeping it quiet!
And finally, I wish to express my gratitude to Tom's close friend David Slatcher, without him the business could have collapsed and I would not have been in the position I am in now and able to do justice to Tom's life work. David picked me up when I was down and supported me until I was able to stand on my own two feet. He is my friend now and has made me laugh again. Thank you Tom for giving me David.
